Clans

Overview

Originally small groups banding together, Clans were not officially recognized until the creation of the 'Indomitable Clans of KHI' system by Endless Devoid. This system classified clan rankings, numbers of members, and the like, bringing all clans together under a single classification table. The system was revamped and improved several times by ED, who passed it onto Zetsumi upon his departure of the RP section. Zetsumi recreated the system, adding a number of new features, including items and the like that he assumed the clans would use to ambush one another, and making the system based more upon participation then victory. However, a number of members disputed this move, and when Zetsumi, too, left KHI, the clan system fell into obscurity, and a number of heated arguements took place over it's future, and who should be the one to continue ED's work. The clan system is currently still unused, though some clans, for example, the Brotherhood of Sin, continue to hold despite the lack of a functioning system.

Notable Clans

Artemia Rucantimae

A 1st-generation clan, founded by noted member Lord of Chaos, Artemia claimed several of the more reknowned members of KHI early on, including the creator of the system, Endless Devoid. It proceeded to become the most prominant clan at the time, boasting both a number of veteran members and promising new ones.

Ordinis Sanctimonia

A peculiar clan lead by a peculiar member, Rhythm of Apathy personally hand-picked his members before the clan was even established. However, beginner clans had a member limit of three users. Apathy overcame this through a technicality, absorbing other temporary clans containing his other members through staged combat. As a result, OS grew to be one of the largest clans in record timing.

Invisible Apocalypse

Later on, Zetsumi would orchestrate a 'clanwar', in syndication with several other members of AR, and it's main rival, OS, in which he, Rhythm of Apathy, and a number of other members, notably D2L and Time, would betray their respective clans, mid-battle. This led to an unresolved situation in which Zetsumi and Apathy would claim to have defeated LoC via another technicality, though it was disputed by Kegan himself, and the formation of the short-lived clan led by Zetsumi and Apathy, which had intended to become a rival to the two major clans.

Brotherhood of Sin

Currently one of the only remaining clans, the Brotherhood of Sin is themed around the Seven Deadly Sins, one of which each of the original seven members would claim a title of. It has now expanded to 13 members, the remaining of which are ranked as acolytes. Each member of the Brotherhood has use of a character based upon their respective sin, the majority of which were created by Clan Leader, Blackest Night.
